All of our documents (for both cruises) came today, thank you Regent and TCAVA and our WONDERFUL travel consultant, who now is starting her retirement process!! SAD!!
We'll fly into Miami on March 25th, spend the night at the Doral and head to the port the next day! Most of the days on our way to Barcelona will be at sea so we'll have lots of time to explore the new ship... still in its maiden year!!
It's only 3 weeks and 3 days until St. Patty's day when our bags will be picked up... so, in a couple of weeks we'll need to get them down from the attic and start packing!! Should be easy this time!! We'll pack fewer clothes because we've sailed enough nights to get free laundry AND, on this trip we'll be changing ships so folks won't notice, not that they ever did!, that we're wearing the same clothes!!!
Oh, and another thing, climate should be about the same for the whole trip! See "Itinerary" tab!
A few days ago, we made a list of what's in the freezer. Today, we started meal planning for the next 4 weeks. Don't want to leave much in the freezer, just in case!! We won't be gone over most of storm season but who knows what may happen!!
Our dear neighbor volunteered to water our lanai garden and at the same time check to make sure all is OK in the house...
The "kitchen" will close on May 22! Our Housekeeper will come that day and we don't want to make any mess after that!
After she does her work, all meals will be taken at one of our clubhouses. I suspect, mostly, at our South Club where we can eat late and order an "adult beverage"! AND, even after dark get there and back in the golf cart!! Yes, it has lights and turn signals!! Lunch might be at one of the local restaurants outside the community!
Ed. Note to all: This is being sent to all the folks who followed our last trip and a few who've requested to be added since then. If you'd prefer not to follow this trip, you may unsubscribe at the bottom of the post.
